a-ok

who ever said NYC is unkind to bikers.

just popping in to quickly say we're fine here, thank you for the shout outs!  it's been bumpy but certainly we're VERY lucky in kalkatroona.  the news from Sandy is astounding, and i hope you and yours are well.

now i'm off to do some subway investigating.  sewing coming soon!

  12. Hooray! Glad you guys are ok :)
We are poking along over here as well - and indeed, given the no-transit (at least in NJ there are few trains still!) and crazy gas prices it is all about the bikes right now.

  14. I feel silly for not knowing you were in New York! Glad you're okay. Brooklyn wasn't really hit very hard at all.

  16. Good to hear you and yours are alright! Stay away from standing water and downed power-lines! (That's what I remember from my hurricane safety tips as a kid.)

  17. I'm so glad you're okay!! Rob and I were both worried and I was hoping you were out of the city on a marvelous vacation. If there's a next time, you can come stay with me and play with the Husqvarna and I'll make you and Ruggy pumpkin French toast.

  19. Glad to hear you are safe. I just got power back midweek and my internet is sort of working. I have to plug into the box and wait for the cable guy to fix my wireless, but doing better than a lot of my neighbors here on the island. Can't wait to see your next sewing project.
