mayday, mayday, IT'S JUNE?!

me made mission accomplished.  lucky number 13 of the month was a tribute to the mastermind behind it all, zoe, homage brilliantly suggested by the crafty gillian.  i was fortunate enough to have zoe's number one choice of backdrop handy: le red door, but i couldn't finish the job without my gent.  so he grabbed a little sunshine with me.  he's all ready for graduation, dontcha know.

if you'd like to see my full mmm set with bigger pics (the last one bearing my thank you note to zoe), hop on over to flickr.  me, i'm done hopping for the night.  i'll be putting my feet up and having a little sweet vermouth.  i'll tell ya, it's a good thing this was me made may and not jacked up june, cause this next week is gonna be ca-ray-zy.

did you play?  are you celebrating with a toast?  cheers, baby.  and do tell what's in your glass.

  3. Right now, there's plain tap water in my glass.

Congratulations on mission accomplished! I did not participate, because I do not have enough me-made as it is (although I surely could participate in "Thrifted"). But who knows, maybe next year I will!

I'm womanly pleased by the abundance of skirts and dresses in this roundup. It has something to do with what you like sewing, but hey, it looks great on you!

    1. i never thought of that (womanly wise). i feel so sad for guys who have to wears things with legs in the summer heat...

    2. It's simply so great to be a woman and able to wear skirts. ;-) It's definitely much more pleasant in heats, and often even in winter (hello, petticoats!). I do love me my corduroy pants and my one pair of jeans proved to be priceless on our Saturday trip gone rather wrong (hello, blackberry thorns and stinging nettles!), but skirts and dresses are just more fun.

  5. Love your MMM12 attire and thanks for introducing me to PicMonkey.

I am at work so just green tea in my cup. I am in a fashion show tonight wearing my Renfrew, so does that count as celebrating? Probably drinks afterwards.

  6. As I almost never wear anything NOT me-made, I suppose that I played, as well. Make mine a pint of Buckshot, Natty Greene's amber ale (with notes of toast and caramel),

  7. Yay! I have loved all of your me-made goodness! I normally wear at least one me-made per day. I must work on my lounge wear, though, as that is mostly thrifted RTW.

  9. I played, too! still need to do a round-up post like yours though. It got easier towards the end of the month when the weather started to feel more seasonable, I realized I definitely don't have a lot of me-made items for colder weather. And I have a tons of prints in my handmade wardrobe!

    1. ah, the prints problem: garments that only go with themselves. i bought some solids for that very reason.

  12. It's the daunting task of photo taking at the end of a long day locked in a building with TEENAGERS that always gets me. I played. I did not record my efforts. Blast it.

You're still killing me with the mommaballoona dress.
