THERE IS NO CHOICE BUT TO JOIN US

debi's bringing the wine.  meg's got the beer under control.  mena's pouring absinthe.  and i've got tequila.

get on a plane.  get on a train.  hop on a boat if you have to (though i'm not fond of traveling by water, myself). this fabulous foursome is taking new york by storm on friday september 30th, and hurricane irene ain't got NOTHIN' on us.  come early!  come late!  or hang out the whole dang day, we've got plans galore!

i'm fairly certain there will be drinking involved.

shoot one of us your email for the details  (but maybe you should stick to me, debi or meg.  that absinthe is pretty strong).  you can catch me at oonaballoona, of the gmail sort, or here in the comments!  aaawooooHOOOOOOO!

  1. I saw Debi's post earlier today and as I said, I'm SO going if it's possible. I may be working in Michigan that week, so I can reroute my return flight through NYC. Or I may be on strike, in which case, no one will notice I'm gone! (ok maybe my man and my offspring will notice). I'll bring the Alcool (illegal outside Quebec). ;)

  13. Another wail! Too far away, too expensive, school time!
Not too loud a wail. I'd have to be easy on the alcohol, and therefore I'm not sure I'd enjoy it the same way as others. But still, I'd have loved to meet you... :(
I'd have brought a bottle of Neuburger white wine, our latest discovery. Now you'll have to do without it!

  22. I have to teach until 3 p.m., but could make the drive over if the festivities will continue into the evening hours (as I'm sure they will) or into Saturday. Hmmm....I'd have to bring some of our local chocolate vodka... Anyhow-could you send me the details? (katelynallers of the gmail sort).
